Sometimes the best gigs are booked last minute. We packed the car and the band into a mid sized Ford and drove a couple of hours to Providence. We really liked DV8 Bar. Cool stage, lighting and plenty of space. Westminster Street is so pretty with beautiful architecture, flowers, cobblestones, etc.
We look forward to out next visit!
Fun time at DV8 in Providence, RI
Diamond Edge was happy to help out to raise money for Danny.
By the end of our set as we closed with a Rush Tribute
This was our third time performing at the Neighbors from Hell annual event that always features the Salem Boys which happen to be Juice”s Hometown musical brethren. An awesome time as usual and this year we played our very first cover tune for this audience which happens to be a Rush song. We were not sure how well it would come out but the audience loved it. We were told that the song literally gave some of them tingles. I”m certain that was in the good way.
The Last Safe & Deposit Battle of the Bands show was awesome last night. We’ve made some really goods fans in Lowell and they went out of their way to show their appreciation. The band actually got a free beer from a fan during our Beer Song. HOW COOL IS THAT? We also met another other band that was pretty cool. All Berkly types who met in school and formed Perfect Mark. My first time seeing a Chapman Stick being played. Sadly last night was our Farewell gig in the battle. A Lowell Hometown Band moved on as they should because they did have a pretty decent draw of hardcore fans. We did make a few fans out of some of them though and we are thankful for that. Kudos go out to Dee Tension for hosting these events and a special thanks to Alisha the house Sound chick who made everything sound awesome. Rock On!
